On the 25th May, Saturn will enter Aries after being in Pisces since March 2023. It will spend the summer here before retrograding back into Pisces, and staying there until February 2026. This will give us a taster of what it feels like to have Saturn in the Aries section of our chart, before its full ingress next year.
In this article I want to focus on what it has been like having Saturn in Pisces and where we have experienced both growth and set backs in our own lives.
Saturn is the planet of Karma, restriction, time, responsibility and structure. It’s like the big bad wolf of astrology, although personally, I don’t actually mind Saturn that much! According to traditional astrology, if you are born in the day, Saturn is more constructive in your chart, whereas if you are born at night, Saturn is more challenging.
Saturn is the task master, it makes us work hard. It can bring delays, isolation and can make us feel heavy and over burdened. If we work hard however, Saturn will reward us, much like a teacher or father would. Saturn represents the father.
Since Saturn has been in Pisces we have been collectively learning lessons around spirituality, compassion, emotional accountability, our subconscious programming and how to set stronger boundaries for ourselves.
On an individual basis, Saturn has been moving through the Pisces section of your chart. This area of life may have undergone some limitations, growth and maturity or responsibility in some way. If you have any planets or points in Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius or Gemini, you would’ve felt this transit more strongly and in a more challenging way.
I am going to run through the signs and the potential themes that may have come up and what you can expect as Saturn moves into Aries.
As always, read for your rising sign as the most accurate, followed by your sun and moon sign.
